In 2016, Vision Built were appointed to design, manufacture, supply and install load bearing light gauge steel panels with 160mm composite decking to deliver a 50 bed serviced apart-hotel. A hot rolled steel transfer structure was used at first floor level, supporting 6 additional storeys. This was a challenging project – due in part to being located within the Chancery Lane conservation area, and to the need to incorporate the original building façade and limited road access.
